Three extends ‘Feel At Home’ free roaming to Spain and New Zealand

Three has just announced its ‘Feel At Home’ service would now be available in Spain and New Zealand.

The former is a big boon to UK holiday-makers, as Spain is the most popular foreign destination for Blighty’s sun-hungry denizens.

In fact, an estimated 13 million people will be heading over to Spain this year to soak up the rays.

If you’ve not heard of ‘Feel At Home’, it’s a wallet-friendly offering from Three that sees roaming charges binned when travelling abroad.

The caveat is that you need to be travelling in one of the ‘Feel At Home’ certified countries, although the list is growing quickly.

All data is included within the deal, including internet browsing – but not tethering - calling, and texting, meaning you shouldn’t find any surplus fees on your bill after a cheeky jaunt to Espana.

Dave Dyson, Three’s CEO, said: “Feel at Home is unique to Three and offers freedom from unfair roaming charges. It is already hugely popular with more than a million of our customers enjoying its benefits since launch.”

“However, my ambition continues to be to eliminate excessive roaming charges globally and we’re working hard to open up even more opportunities for our customers to stay connected and enjoy their phones whilst they’re abroad.”

‘Feel At Home’ now boasts a total of 18 destinations, Spain and New Zealand included, alongside popular holiday spots like France, the USA, Australia, and Italy.

The rest of the list reads as follows: Switzerland, Israel, Finland, Norway, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Macau, Austria, Hong Kong, Sweden, Denmark, and the Republic of Ireland.

Three has also teamed up with Expedia in celebration of the new ‘Feel At Home’ entrants, offering customers 12 per cent off a pre-paid hotel booking via the Expedia app.
