Virgin TV Anywhere rolls out to Android 4.4 KitKat devices

Anyone wielding an Android 4.4 KitKat device can now utilise the Virgin TV Anyway service.

Smartphones and tablets running Google’s latest Android KitKat OS, including the Nexus 5 and Moto G, will now be able to download the Virgin TV Anywhere app to their device.

Virgin TV Anywhere offers 68 live channels to watch on your mobile devices, which the provider claims is more than the Sky Go alternative.

There’s also 2,500 hours of on demand content available via Virgin TV Anywhere, with the majority of this content accessible via smartphone and tablet as well.

Not only can you enjoy live and on demand content using Virgin TV Anywhere wherever you have Wi-Fi access, you can also use the app as a remote management tool for your TiVo set-top box.

This means you can schedule and delete recording in real time, even if you’re not at home.

Virgin TV Anywhere is a free service for any Virgin Media TiVo customers and be enjoyed on computers, select Android devices and all iOS devices.

All Virgin Media customers can use the service on their computers though, even if they don’t have a TiVo subscription.
