Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 video review

You may have already checked out our Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 review, but if you need a quick overview of what we thought of Samsung’s latest slate you can watch the TrustedReviews Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 video review below.

With an 8-inch 1280 x 800p resolution, the S Pen wielding Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 builds on the successful Note brand and lies somewhere between the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone in size.

Playing host to a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor with 2GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS via a 4,600mAh battery offering up to 14 hours of battery life.

It has a 5-megapixel camera in the rear and offers 1.3-megapixels in the front for Skype and other video calling and features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. You can also opt for a 3G/LTE option too for tablet use on the go.

Retailing from £350, we gave the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 seven out of ten due to its usability, stylus and attractive build. Just 7.95mm thick, the 3G/LTE Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 weighs 345g, while the Wi-Fi version shaves 5g off that weight.

Unfortunately, its light and thin form factor is let down by its plastic casing that makes the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 feel cheap, despite its premium price tag.
