Xbox One to be home to 15 game exclusives


Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox One will be home to 15 exclusive titles, all released within the first year of the Xbox One release.


Microsoft Studios is ploughing more money than ever into the Xbox game range and will bring 15 exclusive gaming titles to Xbox One gamers, “eight of which are brand new franchises.”


“Microsoft Studios will launch 15 exclusive Microsoft Studios will launch 15 exclusive games in the first 12 months of Xbox One,” said Phil Spencer, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Game Studios. “Eight of which are brand new franchises.”


EA Sports will have four of those exclusive titles, bringing Madden NFL, UFC, NBA and FIFA 14 titles only to the Xbox One console.


The games will introduce new technology that will offer “human-like intelligence” with “true player motion” and “living worlds with 3D crowds.”


Remedy Games, responsible for the technology behind Max Payne, will offer a new IP entitled Quantum Break, which was demoed at the Xbox One reveal event, and sure to be shown off more during E3.


Forza 5 will also be an Xbox One exclusive. The trailer was shown during tonight’s Xbox One reveal and it will be available at launch, Microsoft has confirmed. “The new age is here”, states the trailer, but Phil Spencer says it will “redefine what we can expect from a next-generation racing game.”
