The Panasonic Lumix GH4 release date and price have been announced and 4K video shooting will set you back a pretty penny.
You’ll be able to get the Lumix GH4 from May 5 in the UK, with the body only package costing £1299.99.
For £1749.99 you can get the Lumix GH4 with a 14-140mm lens, or if you bump up considerably to £2499.99 you can buy the body only with the Interface unit.
If you pre-order any of the Lumix GH4 packages, you can get a free battery grip and battery if you redeem your purchase by June 2.
Panasonic Lumix GH4 Features
The Panasonic Lumix GH4 offers a 16.05-megapixel Live MOS sensor powered by the Venus Engine image processor. The camera is compatible with Micro Four Thirds lenses.
It is capable of 4K video shooting and can offer a 12fps full resolution burst shooting mode. It also feature enhanced Depth from Defocus technology to achieve what Panasonic claims will help you achieve clarity and accuracy in shots.
The GH4 also has in-built Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity and comes with two OLED display – one for the rear monitor and the second for the Live View Finder.
To enhance the video taiking capabilities, the GH4 is also equipped with Variable Frame Rate which ranges from 2fps to 96fps or 4x speed all in Full 1080p HD.
Panasonic has packaged the GH4 in a weather-sealed body that is dustproof and splashproof for the UK’s weather.
