inFamous: Second Son has become the first inFamous title to take the UK All Format Gaming Chart top spot.
Sucker Punch’s exclusive PS4 title, inFamous: Second Son has soared to the top of the UK All Format Gaming Chart following its release date on March 21.
The game is the second biggest week 1 PS4 title to launch so far, with sales figures only paling in comparison to PS4 launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall.
Second Son is the first ever inFamous title to take the top spot, despite the success of the original inFamous and inFamous 2.
Sucker Punch’s success meant that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes had to settle for second place this week.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster was the other new release last week, and entered the UK All Format Gaming Chart at number 4.
Titanfall fell to third place this week thanks to inFamous and MGS and a 73 per cent drop in sales.
Ubisoft’s South Park: The Stick of Truth dropped to fifth place from third the previous week, and FIFA 14 stayed at number six.
Dark Souls 2 entered at number two, but now lies five places lower in seventh thanks to new competition on the market.
Warner Bros also saw its title The Lego Movie Videogame drop four places to number eight, while Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare fell to number nine.
Microsoft is still holding strong with Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition at number 10, which has placed in the UK All Formats Top 10 for 35 of its 39 weeks since release.
