HTC One and HTC One mini owners will soon be able to install the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS in the UK.
The new Google mobile OS is rolling out to all HTC One and HTC One mini smartphones across the UK now and will bring a selection of updates to the smartphone duo.
According to the update info, the HTC One and its little brother will both get Android 4.4.2 KitKat, which requires 308.24MB of free space in order to install.
The update will also introduce some security enhancements for the two HTC smartphones.
Google's KitKat Cloud Print service will be added to both smartphones, allowing you to connect to printers on your Wi-Fi network, plus you'll also be able to use a wider range of Bluetooth profiles following the update.
The Flash Player compatibility for both devices will be removed with the Android KitKat update, so if you are particularly used to watching Flash movies on your mobile you might want to delay installing the update.
You will get the majority of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat features with the update, including the restyled navigation and status bars.
You'll also see the new Phone Dialler app that allows you to search for contacts within the app and automatically tries to match unknown calls with numbers for local businesses listed in Google Maps.
