Rockstar Games has released the mobile version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for Android and Kindle Fire HDX devices.

The Android and Kindle Fire HDX mobile game was expected to debut alongside the iOS version, which was launched in December.

However, there was a slight delay to the launch, but you can now play GTA: San Andreas on your Android and Kindle Fire HDX tablets and smartphones.

“Experience the best looking version yet of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas yet, now on iOS, Android and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX devices with re-mastered, high-resolution graphics including lighting enhancements, an enriched colour palette and improved character models,” said Rockstar Games.

Rockstar Games has also made sure that the new mobile version of GTA: San Andreas is compatible with USB and Bluetooth controllers like the newly launched Moga Ace Power Controller and the Logitech PowerShell controllers for iOS 7.

There’s a full list of compatible controllers on the Rockstar Support page, but you can download the game now for £4.99 in the App Store, Kindle Store and on Google Play.

Rockstar has also noted that the game will launch for Windows mobile devices in the near future.
