Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date tipped as September 4

A Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date has been teased once again, with latest reports suggesting the much mooted stylus hosting handset will be formally unveiled on September 4.

Widely expected to make an appearance at IFA 2013, claimed sources “close to the matter” have reportedly confirmed that the South Korean manufacturer will hold another Samsung Unpacked launch event on September 4, an event which will see the heavily rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 3 unveiled.

While IFA 2013 is not set to officially kick off until September 6, the proposed Wednesday unveiling would fall in line with the Berlin based conferences’ press days.

Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 follow-on has yet to be formally mentioned, a flurry of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumours have been doing the rounds in recent weeks, suggesting the Sony Xperia Z Ultra rival will land in the near future.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumours

With a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date now being tipped for September 4, attention turns to what features the smartphone turn tablet hybrid will offer.

According to latest reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specs sheet will see a 6-inch Super AMOLED display make the cut, providing 1080p Full HD visuals. Further setting the device out as a high-end handset, the Note 3 is expected to sport the same 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera as its Samsung Galaxy S4 branded sibling.

Taking additional pointers from the company’s flagship model, further Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumours have tipped to phone to run the same 1.9GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD, as the S4.
