HTC One M8 Prime render leaks

More information concerning the so-called HTC One M8 Prime has hit the internet, this time in the form of an intriguing-looking 360 degree render.

Once again, this new information concerning HTC’s next flagship phone comes from the Twitter account of one @evleaks.

Having spilled the beans on the HTC One M8 Prime’s likely specs, the latest reveal relates to how the new phone will look. And it looks surprisingly different to the HTC One M8.

The render reveals a flatter device with an unusual grey tone to it, which could reflect the exotic aluminium-liquid silicone composite it’s said to be made out of.

But the most striking element of the HTC One M8 Prime is its camera. It juts out from the body of the device by some way, and is surrounded by a bright orange band.

Perhaps this is a sign that HTC has addressed one of the few weak points of the HTC One M8 - its UltraPixel camera, which produced bright and flexible shots that nonetheless tended to lack detail.

Other rumoured specs for the HTC One M8 Prime include a faster Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB of RAM (up from 2GB), and a larger 5.5-inch QHD display.

That new material we mentioned earlier will apparently give the HTC One M8 Prime the water resistant qualities that are all the rage in Android land right now, without sacrificing its unique premium looks.

A later tweet from @evleaks claimed that the HTC One M8 Prime would be "the first Sense 6.5 handset from HTC."
