Nokia has updated its UK website to announce the Nokia Lumia 1320 will be “coming soon”.
Although the company has yet to release an official UK release date for the Lumia 1320, at least there’s definitive confirmation the mid-range phablet will arrive here soon.
The Lumia 1320 offers similar specs to its Nokia Lumia 1520 sibling, but aims to appeal to those looking for a more affordable price point.
“Now more than ever, mobile devices are at the centre of consumers’ lives as they look to capture, curate and share experiences on the go,” said Stephen Elop, Executive Vic e President of Devices and Services at Nokia when launching the 1320. “With our latest range of Lumia and Asha products, we’re delivering industry leading design and imaging innovation to bigger devices at more accessible prices.”
Currently the Nokia UK website lists the 1320 as “coming soon”, but you can sign up for email alerts as to when it will be available in UK stores.
Nokia Lumia 1320 Features
With a 6-inch 720p HD display, the Lumia 1320 runs Windows Phone 8 on a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM.
It only has a 5-megapixel camera in comparison to the Lumia 1520’s 20-megapixel PureView camera to keep costs low. This is coupled with a 0.3-megapxiel front-facing video calling camera.
The Lumia 1320 has 8GB of internal storage, as well as 7GB of SkyDrive cloud storage and you’ll benefit from its microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Powered by 3400mAh battery, the Lumia 1320 is 9.79mm thick and 220g in weight.
Luckily, you’ll get access to all the apps present on the Lumia 1520, as well as being eligible for the Nokia Lumia Black update released earlier in January.
