Virgin Media Season Ticket to appease sports lovers

The World Cup might be over but Virgin Media is already getting ready for the start of the new Premier League season, unveiled the new Virgin Media Season Ticket for sports lovers.

Offering users every major live sports channel in the UK in a single place, the Virgin Media Season Ticket will see subscribers secure access to all the major Sky Sports channels as well as BT Sport and a raft more for the full 10 months of the English football season.

Unlike Sky and BT Sport which require costly monthly charges in order to access their sporting content, the Virgin Media Season Ticket will see subscribers charged a single, upfront fee of £150.

This bundle includes Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and Sky Sports F1 channels – all in their HD form, as well as BT Sport, ESPN, British Eurosport, Racing TV, Box Nation and Premier Sport.

Although set to run during the football calendar, the Virgin Media Season Ticket will incorporate all sporting action shown on the mass of channels.

“Virgin Media is now the home of all the major live sports in the UK in HD or on the go,” Dana Strong, Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Media, said.

“This is the first time all the Sky and BT Sport channels will be available in one place, backed by superfast broadband, for a single great value price.”

She added: “It doesn’t matter if you are watching at home or on the go, you now have front row access to all the top sporting action with Virgin Media.”

The Virgin Media Season Ticket will be offered until September 1, and cannot be taken in conjunction with any other offers being made by the service provider.
