Samsung may launch the Samsung Galaxy S5 Dx rather than calling it the Galaxy S5 Mini.
The south Korean electronics giant has already launched the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom as the S5 Zoom, choosing to spin off the S5 variant into a new Galaxy line rather than confuse consumers.
It looks like it has plans to do the same with the heavily rumoured Galaxy S5 Mini, according to a listing for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Dx.
The leaked screengrab, from notoriously reliable @evleaks, comes direct from the Samsung UK website and lists the purported S5 Mini model number SM-G800.
This model number has been seen in a number of leaks to date, including a listing on the Indian import/export site Zauba earlier this week.
The S5 Dx is expected to be a mid-range offering like its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and feature a 4.47-inch 720p HD display running on a quad-core Snapdragon CPU with 1.5GB of RAM.
Other rumoured specs include 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front facing camera and a 2,100mAh battery.
The S5 Dx will no doubt run the latest TouchWiz UI introduced with the Samsung Galaxy S5 over the top of Android 4.4 KitKat.
Although there’s no information as to when Samsung will officially launch the device, the fact this page exists somewhere is a strong indication that a launch is imminent.
Of course, we suggest you take this leak with the standard pinch of salt, but there’s definitely a pace to the amount of rumours we’re hearing about this device.
