HTC One M8 Mini in three colours

Yet another press render of the forthcoming HTC One M8 Mini, aka the HTC One Mini 2, has leaked onto the internet.

Just days after we saw an official-looking press render of the HTC One M8’s smaller brother, another has appeared.

Once again the leaked image, provided by @evleaks, shows a device that bears a large resemblance to the aforementioned HTC flagship. It has a similar brushed aluminium design, along with the familiar ’T’ detailing just above the camera.

However, once again we see that above the T-strip, the HTC One M8 Mini will lose the One M8’s unique second camera lens. It just gets the one lens, like every other camera phone out there.

But the biggest new thing to emerge from this latest snap is the range of colours the HTC One M8 Mini will be made available in. Alongside the dark grey we’ve already seen it in, you’ll also be able to grab one in silver or gold.

We previously learned that the HTC One M8 Mini is likely to have a 4.5-inch 720p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.

The aforementioned single-lens camera will still be an extremely respectable 13-megapixel unit, and the phone will run Android 4.4 and the latest version of HTC’s Sense UI.

There’s still no indication of a release date for the HTC One M8 Mini, but given that this is the second official-looking press render we’ve seen recently, it suggests that a launch is not far off.
