Samsung Galaxy S4 now free on £25 per month contract


One of the best Android smartphones on the market right now just got a little more affordable, with the Samsung Galaxy S4 now free when taken out on a £25 per month contract.


The deal, being offered by retailer Carphone Warehouse, see the flagship Samsung handset tied to Vodafone’s network, with the minimal monthly outlet bundling the handset with unlimited texts, 600 any network minutes and a 500MB monthly data allowance.


Until now, the high-end Samsung Galaxy S4 has been offered free only on more costly £37 per month contracts or higher.


A limited time offer, the HTC One and LG G2 rival is being offered on this cut-price, 24 month plan until tomorrow only. Those looking to snap up a budget Samsung Galaxy S4 will need to do so before 11:59pm on Tuesday December 3.


A web exclusive flash sale, this Samsung Galaxy S4 offer is not available through the retailer’s high street stores, and is only offered on the 16GB, white rendition of the iPhone 5S challenger.


Unveiled back in March ahead of an April release, the Samsung Galaxy S4 sees a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel Full HD display line up alongside a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.


Having recently been updated to the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, the Samsung Galaxy S4 specs sheet is further enhance by a 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera, 2-megapixel forward-mounted snapper and the company’s popular TouchWiZ UI.


Lining up at 7.9mm thick and just 130g in weight, the plastic clad Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to be superseded early in the New Year, with a Samsung Galaxy S5 release date having been tipped for March.
