Three has released its pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S5 on contract as well as the standalone prices for the Samsung Gear Fit and Gear 2 Neo.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S5 won’t start until March 28, but at least you know how much you’ll have to fork out a month for your new smartphone.
From Three, the Galaxy S5 will be available for a £69 up-front fee on a choice of four different 24 month tariffs, which all include unlimited texts.
These include a £38/month contract that includes 600 minutes and 2GB of data and a £44/month tariffs that offers unlimited minutes and all-you-can-eat data. Following this morning’s outlined One Plan changes, the latter tariff will not include unlimited tethered data, but will be capped at a 2GB maximum.
Three will stock the Galaxy S5 in black, white and blue, as the gold is a Vodafone exclusive.
“Partnered with Three’s fast 4G network available at no extra cost, additional features such as the Galaxy S5’s download booster that uses both Wi-Fi and 4G to increase data speed, means you are no longer confined to your desktop when downloading large files. Altogether making this Samsung smartphone the most feature-rich customer experience yet,” said Sylvia Chind, head of devices at Three.
Three also revealed that it will stock the Samsung Gear 2 Neo smartwatch and Gear Fit fitness tracker.
It is the first network provider to provide official pricing for the wrist-worn devices, which will both retail for £199.
We have not heard of a confirmed release date for either the Gear Fit or Gear 2 Neo, but we expect that they will be available around the Galaxy S5 release date on April 11.
