Some new Titanfall details have emerged after an abundance of leaked alpha testing footage emerged online.
The highly-secret Titanfall alpha testing period was held over the weekend, causing lots of gamers to post Xbox One gameplay videos on YouTube against Respawn Studios’ wishes (and its legal team).
However, some new information on the game’s loadouts was gleaned from the new footage, including customisation options.
According to the footage you’ll be able to customise two Titanfall loadouts on the Xbox One – one specifically for your Titan and another for the pilot.
Titans have a single, extremely powerful weapon slot, an Ordance slot for grenades, a Tactical Ability slot and a further two kit slots.
You could put things like a Regen Booster for your shield, Nuclear Ejection (to make you explode on death), Survivor (doomed Titans degrade slower), or an Auto-Eject feature in your Titan kit slots.
Unlike the pilots, you can utilise a Titan’s Core Abilities in-game after a countdown post-Titan summon. These vary, but one is a Damage Core that slowly charges up a Titan’s defences.
The pilots have the same loadout options as the Titans, but get a primary weapon, sidearm and Anti-Titan weapon slot instead of the single weapon option of the Titan.
Kit slot options for the pilots include a Minion Detector for revealing AI-controller Spectres and Grunts, whilst the Power Cell recharges the Tactical Ability slot faster.
Of course, as these features are all part of the preliminary alpha test phase, they are subject to change and moderation before the Titanfall release date on March 14.
