Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite
Samsung has confirmed that the heavily rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite will not be coming to the UK.
Simultaneously confirming and ridding us of a miniature Galaxy Note 3, a Samsung spokesperson told TechRadar the Note 3 Lite is not UK bound.
“Samsung can confirm that the Note 3 Lite will not be coming to the UK market”, said the spokesperson.
Unfortunately, there was no further information given about the release date or actual availability of the smaller and lower spec Note 3, but Samsung said it would come to market called the Note 3 Lite rather than Neo.
Earlier today, press images from a Belgian retailer were posted online building our hopes for a European release for the Note 3 Lite.
It was tipped to have a rather high price of €599 (£592), though that’s still quite short of the Galaxy Note 3 RRP when it launched last year.
A host of information about the Note 3 Neo (or Lite) have emerged in recent weeks to complement the latest press pics.
It’s supposed to have a 5.55-inch 720p HD Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage bolstered by a microSD card slot and running on a 3,100mAh battery.
There were also rumours the Note 3 Lite could be the first hexa-core device with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and 1.3GHz quad-core CPU.
Alas, it seems despite the specs and intrigue surrounding the Note 3 Lite, UK consumers won’t even get their mitts on it.
