A new Google Nexus 10 tablet could be on the horizon, with latest reports suggesting the flagship Android device will be formally unveiled during CES 2014.
With the Vegas-based tech convention set to kick off next Monday, January 6, new reports have claimed that a revised Google Nexus 10 offering will be produced in partnership with Samsung and showcased during the Korean manufacturer’s conference.
While we must stress that these reports are far from official and should be taken with a considerable pinch of salt, serial tech tipster DigiTimes has cited unnamed industry sources in making the claims.
“Google is expected to launch the new Nexus 10 tablet at the show with Samsung remaining the manufacturer of the device,” the Asian outlet reported. The claims added: “Many market watchers expect the device to adopt an AMOLED panel.”
Although the latest reports have offered no indication of the upcoming tablet’s specs, previous leaks have tipped the second-generation iPad Air rival to land running the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS alongside 2GB of RAM, a 2560 x 1600 pixel Full HD display and a reported 13 hour battery life.
