Nokia is set to unveil an all-aluminium Windows Phone 8 smartphone called the Nokia Lumia 925 next week, according to reports.
Chinese website Windows Phone Bar is reporting that Nokia will reveal its new Nokia Lumia flagship at a special launch event in London on May 14.
Nokia has already sent out invites to journalists to see how "The Nokia Lumia story continues" at this event. An all-new device seems probable.
Rumours of an all-aluminium Nokia Lumia device - known as 'Catwalk' - have been circulating since the turn of the year.
More recently, leaked images appeared on a Chinese website, showing the phone's sturdy new material and bulging camera module (possibly due to a slim body).
As suggested by its name, it's believed that the Nokia Lumia 925 will effectively be a reskin of the existing Nokia Lumia 920. This would mean specs that include a 4.5-inch OLED display with a 1280 x 768 resolution.
It would also mean the same 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU backed by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, as well as an 8.7-megapixel camera around back.
Nokia is also set to launch the Nokia Lumia 928 on US operator Verizon, which is another subtly reworked take on the Nokia Lumia 920. It appears to lack the 925's HTC One-like aluminium shell, however.
