Sky Now TV Box fitted with 4oD at last

Sky has now added 4oD to its £9.99 Sky Now TV Box offerings, increasing the amount of on-demand content available.

Owners of the Sky Now TV Box will now be able to watch Channel 4 catch-up content for no additional cost, as Sky announces 4oD has finally arrived on the little white box.

The Now TV Box already has BBC iPlayer and Demand5 and the addition of 4oD will add over 3000 hours of new content.

“Bringing 4oD on the Now TV Box represents the latest device launch in a busy year for Channel 4 that has seen us extend our content reach to many new platforms,” said Laurence Dawkin-Jones, Director of Commercial and Business. “We’re always looking for new places we can ensure our viewers can enjoy our popular on-demand service, and are delighted to add this to the portfolio.”

Viewers can now watch Channel 4 shows like Homeland and Agents of SHIELD on their Now TV box and will have access to classic box sets like Peep Show and Black Books.

“The Now TV Box provides millions of people with the opportunity to transform their regular TV into a Smart TV for less than a tenner,” said Giden Katz, Director of Now TV. “The launch of 4oD means the Now TV Box delivers an even bigger choice of on-demand TV. It’s available alongside flexible pay-as-you-go access to must-see sport, the latest movies you missed at the cinema and the TV shows everyone’s talking about.”

Other content offered by the Sky Now TV Box included the Now TV Entertainment Month Pass for £4.99/month, the Sky Sports Day Pass for £9.99 or the Sky Movies Month Pass for £8.99/month.

All of these subscriptions are on a rolling contract that won’t require you to sign up for 12 months.
