HTC releases FootballFeed app for Android

HTC has launched the HTC FootballFeed app for Android, offering a new football companion for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

It’s the official UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League app and will bring the latest match stats as they arrive.

“The new HTC FootballFeed app is designed to enrich and enhance fans’ experience of the sport they love – whether during the game itself, in the build-up or during the post-match discussion”, said HTC EMEA President Philip Blair. “Following football is about so much more than just checking scores, and so we’ve created an app that’s a 360-degree view of everything that matters to fans – and because no two are the same, we’ve made it the kind of smart and customisable experience that delivers the information you care about, whenever you need it.”

HTC FootballFeed Features

The HTC FootballFeed provides breaking team news for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League as well as live match updates and post-match analysis.

HTC has based the app’s interface on the HTC BlinkFeed homescreen introduced with the HTC One and you can customise it according to the teams and matches that are most important to you.

The matches can also be sent to your calendar via the app so you don’t miss out, and you’ll be able to check the scores when you’re out and about.

FootballFeed also offers football-related news articles, information on the latest standings and all competing clubs and players.

Along with photo galleries, you’ll also get a rolling live feed for each match, complete with highlights of key moments and a detailed commentary.

HTC will also offer exclusive promotions and competitions for anyone using the FootballFeed app.

The HTC FootballFeed app for Android is available now from the Google Play store for free.
