The iPhone 6 specs have been leaked by a fresh listing on Amazon Japan, ahead of the phone’s official launch later this year.
Amazon Japan has listed the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, despite the fact it hasn’t yet been officially launched by Apple.
The listing reveals some of the phone’s specs, stating that it will feature a 4.7-inch display and run iOS 8 out of the box as anticipated.
It also looks like at least the gold version could come with 64GB of internal storage as an option if not as standard.
Contrary to previous rumours, it looks like the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will measure up at 130 x 65 x 7mm. Leaks suggested it would come with an ultra-slim 6mm profile, but the Amazon Japan listing suggests otherwise.
A 7mm thickness would still make it thinner than the 7.6mm iPhone 5S though.
Amazon Japan also lists a release date for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 for September 30, which is in-line with previous rumours it would be available for purchase in late September.
However, September 30 is a Tuesday and Apple has been known to launch the device in the UK at least on a Friday, so we could see it released on September 26.
What’s weird is that Amazon Japan lists the price for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 as 139,999 Japanese yen, which equates to around £805. Even for a 64GB model, this is well over the RRP for the iPhone 5S, which retails for £549, £629 and £709 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models respectively.
The Amazon Japan listing has now been removed though, which suggests there is some truth to the information presented.
Other specs for the iPhone 6 include a sapphire crystal display panel for increased durability, a new Apple A8 processor and a new, rounded edge iPod Touch mimicking design.
