With the Samsung Galaxy S5 expected to be unveiled in less than two weeks, claimed images of the handset’s box have emerged teasing the phone’s upcoming specs sheet.

With the newly surfaced images reportedly showing official Samsung Galaxy S5 packaging, the leaked shots have captured the phone’s full specs sheet, with a 20-megapixel camera and 2.5GHz quad-core processor tipped for inclusion.

According to the leaks out of the Netherlands, which we must stress should be taken with a considerable pinch of salt, the eagerly awaited iPhone 5S rival and Samsung Galaxy S4 follow-on will indeed feature the 5.25-inch QHD Super AMOLED display which has been repeatedly rumoured in recent weeks.

As well as the improved, and larger display, it has been suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core processor – presumably a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 offering, and 3GB of RAM, identical to that found in the existing Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

The leaked S5 box has also claimed that a 3000mAh Lithium-Ion battery, Cat4 LTE 4G connectivity options and 1080p Full HD video recording will also feature on the future flagship phone.

Although many recent Samsung Galaxy S5 rumours have suggested a 16-megapixel primary camera will take centre stage on the phone’s rear, the latest leaks have claimed that a 20-megapixel offering will be present alongside a 2-megapixel snapper around front.

Although the teased packaging looks like it could be the real deal, such a leak wouldn’t be too difficult to photoshop so please take these claims somewhat lightly.

Last week Samsung teased that a Samsung Galaxy S5 release date will be announced on February 24, with the company issuing invites to its MWC 2014 press conference that it has self-dubbed ‘Unpacked 5’.
