Xbox Live Spring Sale launched in time for Easter gaming

Microsoft has launched the Xbox Live Spring Sale, offering discounts on loads of gaming titles to fuel your Easter gaming sessions.

Sadly, the Xbox Live Spring Sale only extends to Xbox 360 games and not on any Xbox One content, which will disappoint those who have already invested in Microsoft’s next-gen console.

However, a wide range of Xbox 360 Games on Demand, DLC and XBLA games are offered at discounted prices along with some movies and other content.

The Xbox Live Spring Sale starts today April 15 and runs until Easter Monday, April 21, so you’ll have to be quick if you want to pick up some of the bargains on offer.

As part of the Spring Sale, Microsoft is offering huge discounts on Batman-related titles, including the range of Batman: Arkham Origins DLC for between 50 and 75 per cent discounts.

Aside from Gotham-centric discounts, you could pick up the Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Season Pass for just over £10, a third off the original RRP.

There are a huge number of add-on reductions if you’re looking to extend your existing collection with a few more gameplay hours.

With discounts ranging between 50 and 75 per cent, you could pick up some DLC for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Dishonored and Saints Row 4.

In terms of Games on Demand bargains, there aren’t many full titles on offer for substantial discounts.

However, you can pick up Lego Marvel Super Heroes for a third off, Saints Row 4 for half price, Borderlands 2 for a 65 per cent discount, Prototype 2 for 75 per cent less and Batman Arkham City for 75 per cent off among others.

For the full list of discounts, head to the Major Nelson podcast website for more details.
