Google Nexus 7 now available in white

Google has launched a new version of its Nexus 7 tablet, this time in white.

The second generation Google Nexus 7 was introduced on July 24, and was received with almost universal positivity. However, it only came in a single colour: black.
Almost five months later, Google has announced the launch of a white version. Like the white Google Nexus 5, it’s actually more of a two-tone design, with a white rear cover and the same black front section.
As revealed on the official @googlenexus Twitter account, Google has made this white Nexus 7 available to purchase through the Google Play Store here in the UK, as well as in the US an Japan.
It’s only available with 32GB of internal storage - there’s no entry-level 16GB model - so the white Nexus 7 will set you back the usual £239.99.
This might only be a cosmetic change for the Nexus 7 2013 model, but it remains the slickest 7-inch tablet on the market with its 7-inch 1920 x 1200 display and quad-core Snapdragon S4 CPU and. In fact with the introduction of the stock Android 4.4 KitKat OS since its launch, the Nexus 7 is even better than it was at launch.
Google has also added a new Nexus 7 case to the Play Store, with a fold-up cover that doubles as a kickstand. It’s listed as Coming Soon here in the UK, but we do know that it will cost £34.99 when it arrives.
