Google is all set to launch the second iteration of its Google Glass device, and has just rolled out an accessory store in preparation.

It’s been noted that navigating to the official Glass Explorers website (though only if you’re a Glass owner) will reveal a new set of accessories for Google’s innovative wearable smart device.

This store will sell additional chargers, extra mono earbuds, clear visor shields, carrying pouches and more.

None of these items is what you’d call cheap, though. Early screenshots of the store reveal a charge of $50 (£31) for the mono earbud, as well as for the extra charger/cable combo. The aforementioned clear shield, meanwhile, is a somewhat steep $75 (£47).

Meanwhile, Google has launched new support pages detailing how the new earbud accessory attaches and works, as well as information on these new shades, shields and other Glass accessories. It also reveals that you’ll be able to charge and sync your Google Glass device with a bundled USB cable.

These new support pages also reveal that Google has partnered with the likes of Maui Jim and Zeal Optics to produce additional sunglass attachments for Google Glass.

It's also revealed that the new Google Glass headset will allow you to exchange frames for that extra personalised touch, and one of these new help pages shows how the process works.

Expect Google Glass to become available to general users some time next year.
