We really like the Sennheiser Momentum headphones, so the fact the company has unveiled the 2nd generation of the range at CES 2015 is great news. Better still, it's added Wireless versions, too.

The range, which includes the Momentum M2 (over ear) and Momentum On-ear M2, look very similar and come in the same range of colours – a standard black and an 'ivory' version.

Each feature folding ear cups for easier transportation and in-line controls.

Sennheiser will even sell versions with in-line controls designed for specific Android phones, including Samsung, LG, HTC and Sony phones.

The wireless versions of each headphone are basically the same, but slightly heavier to incorporate the wireless elements.

They have what Sennheiser calls the NoiseGard active noise cancellation, which reduces ambient noise.

Unsurprisingly, both use Bluetooth 4.0 and aptX audio codec.

Each has 600mAh batteries, though puzzlingly Sennheiser only states how long the headphones take to charge – three hours – and not how long the battery will last.

Pricing and availability is still to be confirmed.
