Qualcomm has all but confirmed that the upcoming HTC One M9 will run its latest and greatest Snapdragon 810 processor.

The chip manufacturer published a cheeky Vine last night, featuring the silhouette of a phone that, in shape at least, resembles the One M9.

The digits of an alarm clock are overlaid, which show 8:10 before switching from 10:08 to 10:09.

It’s not the hardest of codes to crack, and means HTC’s new flagship will be one of very few phones with the speedy chipset when it lands at MWC on 1 March – that’s this Sunday.

We’re expecting the smartphone to look very similar to the HTC One M8, but feature a new 4-Ultrapixel selfie camera, modified stereo speakers and, of course, Android 5.0 Lollipop.

We only wish a few other tech companies would take a leaf out of Qualcomm’s book. The teasers for the Samsung Galaxy S6 have been cheese central.

The South Korean giant’s new mobile looks like it'll be clad in metal, rather than plastic, and is also set for a 1 March unveiling.
