LG G Flex 2 price confirmed as pre-orders open

LG G Flex 2 pre-orders have kicked into life, confirming pricing for the curved screened phone in the process.

Having been one of the headline handsets at last month’s CES gathering, the LG G Flex 2 has been made available for pre-order through Carphone Warehouse just days before MWC 2015 kicks into action.

Pairing a 5.5-inch, curved Plastic-OLED display with an innovative self-healing back cover, the LG G Flex 2 is a firm sign of the smartphone future.

For those who can’t wait for the future, however, the handset is available to pre-order now ahead of a mid-March release.

Although an exact LG G Flex 2 release date is still currently unclear, Carphone has highlighted that “delivery [is] expected by week commencing 16th March”.

While SIM-free pricing is yet to be confirmed, those looking to snap up the device on a pay monthly plan will need to give their wallet a considerable beating.

The LG G Flex 2 will set wannabe owners back a premium £34.50 per month. This puts it firmly within the price bracket of the iPhone 6 and, most likely, the upcoming Galaxy S6.

For this lofty fee, the handset will be paired with 600 UK minutes, unlimited texts and a mere 1GB 4G data allowance.

Making that dent in your bank balance a little easier to stand, those pre-ordering the G Flex 2 will be handed a compliamentary Bluetooth LG speaker worth £150.
