Sony 2013 Bravia W-Series TV range now available to pre-order

Sony has launched its latest line-up for Sony Bravia 2013 TV sets, which are now available to pre-order.

Originally debuted at CES 2013, the Sony 2013 Bravia HDTV range will be arriving in stores from the end of April.

The new Sony Bravia 2013 range includes the W series of LED Bravia televisions, including the flagship Sony Bravia W9 series.

“Sony continues to deliver pioneering technology to consumers, providing superb picture quality with rich, vibrant images that bring TV to life,” said Soiny Europe Home Entertainment’s Senior Product Manager, Kentaro Matsumoto. “This year, Sony leads its unique audio technologies to the television line, along with engaging experiences such as One-touch mirroring that instantly lets views show content from their NFC-enabled phones to the big screen.”

Sony 2013 Bravia W-Series TV Features

Although the W-Series TVs won’t be showing off amazing 4K resolutions, all of the TVs do sport Sony’s X-Reality Pro picture processor, which is said to be capable of “unprecedented detail and astonishing colour”. The TV sets also include Sony Motionflow XR technology for good responses to fast-paced content like action movies or console gaming.

The high-end Sony Bravia W9 model utilises a Triluminos display with LED backlighting, which integrates Quantum Dot technology for a wider colour range and a more lifelike image. Incorporating a long duct speaker into its slimline design, the Sony Bravia W9 TV offers addition support for bass and low-to-midrange sounds.

The Sony Bravia W9 and Sony Bravia W8 both come bundled with a One-touch or NFC remote and support 3D viewing and TV SideView.

The Sony 2013 Bravia W-Series TVs are pre-installed with the Sony Entertainment network for access to Sony Music and Video Unlimited, on-demand apps like BBC iPlayer, Demand and LoveFilm, as well as social media apps like YouTube, Skype and Facebook.
