The latest addition to the Panasonic TZ range, prized for being increasingly popular travel cameras, the Pansonic Lumix TZ40 provides a large optical zoom within a compact body.


Sporting an 18.1-megapixel high sensitivity MOS sensor and 20x optical zoom, the Panasonic Lumix TZ40 is a great addition to anyone’s travel bag.






Panasonic Lumix TZ40 Features


The Panasonic Lumix TZ40 features a 20x optical zoom supported by Panasonic’s Hybrid O.I.S stabilisation, which offers 5-axis image stabilisation for video and photographs.


Packing the new MOS sensor with a resolution of 18.1-megapixels, the Panasonic Lumix TZ40 sports the highest image sensor of the Panasonic TZ range so far, with an ISO range of 100 to 6400.


With a 3-inch touchscreen offering a resolution 920k-dots, the Panasonic Lumix TZ40 also has a tap-to-focus mode, which allows autofocus via a tap on the LCD screen, similar to smartphones like the iPhone 5.


Offering full 1,920 x 1,080p HD video capture, the Panasonic Lumix TZ40 also packs high speed consecutive shooting at 10fps in full resolution and Light speed AF.


The travel camera also integrates Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity and with the Panasonic Image App users can easily connect their Panasonic Lumix TZ40 to various smart devices too.
