OnePlus may be preparing to launch its own smartwatch, with a round face akin to the Motorola Moto 360.
Following the launch of the OnePlus One, there’s been a lot of hype around OnePlus and it looks like the company is preparing a few other gadgets.
An anonymous tipster sent the below sketch and the above screengrab from the OnePlus website to BGR, showcasing the company’s first smartwatch.
The so-called OnePlus OneWatch has a round face mimicking the Motorola Moto 360 and comes with a tan leather strap.
According to the diagram, the OneWatch will offer an OLED display protected by a layer of sapphire glass – something that is rumoured for the iPhone 6 and the iWatch too.
It will feature Qi wireless charging technology built into the back of the watch face and have a curved battery contained within the strap.
Aside from the leather strap, it looks like the OneWatch will have titanium detailing around the face and even offer a configurable button where you’d usually find a watch’s winder.
From the looks of the website screengrab, we’re expecting the OneWatch’s body to be a lot slimmer than the Moto 360, which is looking quite chunky from what we’ve seen so far.
There’s no word on what operating system it will run, so it could be the same Cyanogenmod Android UI or something else for the company’s first smartwatch.
Hopefully the OneWatch will follow in the footsteps of the OnePlus One and offer high-end specs at a dazzlingly low price.
