The Motorola Moto X could soon be replaced
Motorola’s next flagship Android phone has leaked, with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 rival reportedly set to be known as the Motorola Moto X 1.
With the original Motorola Moto X having launched last year as the big brother to the TrustedReviews Product of the Year Award winning Motorola Moto G, the American manufacturer looks set to launch a Moto X follow-on in the near future.
Leaking courtesy of the serial Twitter-based tech tipster @evleaks, the Motorola Moto X 1’s branding has been unearthed, although concrete specs still remain shrouded in mystery.
“Motorola Moto X 1: coming soon,” the leakster has teased alongside a graphic of the phone’s expected logo.
Although it is possible that the Motorola Moto X 1 will be the first handset to come from Motorola since it was taken over my Chinese giant Lenovo earlier in the year, it is likely that the phone has been in the works long before former owner Google offloaded the phone maker.
Although Motorola Moto X 1 specs are still to be revealed, it is expected that the phone will be a marked step up on the 4.7-inch, 720p AMOLED display hosting, 1.7GHz dual-core CPU powered, Android run Moto X of 2013.
